Poggio alla Pieve is a real Tuscan dream located in the hills of Natural Park di Monte Morello.
The hillside behind Poggio alla Pieve and surrounding the entire property is full ofi cypress trees and tall natural Alberese rock formations. The property is surrounded by olive trees and the Giachetti Palchetti family continue the tradition that makes Poggio alla Pieve olive oil one of the best in Tuscany. The land surrouding about 5 acres has been kept in its natural state (fruit trees, herbs, vegatable garden) so all the plants bloom abundantly: From red poppies to yellow calendolas, from violet anemones to the iris' and tulips lining the edges of the stone walls.
The agritourism consists of a 13th century farmhouse divided into four apartments, they are completely restored and furnished with antiques; most of them are equipped with satellite television, air conditioning, jacuzzi bath and all have own furnished outdoor area whit barbecue and wood stove.
