Description
Houses and aparments, surrounded by lawns, woods and olive trees, in the centre of a spacious farming estate. This is an ideal position for those who wish to have, besides relaxation and tranquillity, the possibility of cultural visits. The estate is situated on the foot of the Lucca hills in the vicinity of the most important historic villas (country residences) of Lucca. There is ample opportunity for lovely, long walks or bicycle rides. In the woods on the estate there are paths with specifically equipped sections where keep fit exercises can be done (vita parcours). The farming estate and the houses are managed directly from the owner Vittorio Silvestrini and his wife Barbara MacNeil. Togehter they carry on this activity in the property that always belonged to the family. The owners, in the course of the years, have adapted the houses to a confortable standard, always maintening their original characteristic.
All the buildings are furnished with antique or country-style items and are equipped with china, cutlery, kitchen-ware and linen. An open-air barbecue and a coin operated washing machine are also available. The gardens are suitably equipped. Satellite TV in all the houses and windows insects screen nets.
Villa Padronale(A)
At the centre of the estate is the VILLA IOLANDA, a building whose construction dates back to the beginning of the 19th century. The majority of the large rooms have ceilings decorated with frescos and the floors are classic tuscan tiles.
VILLA IOLANDA
Suitable for 14people, is the “piano nobile” of the “VIlla padronale ” of the farming estate. The construction, dated back to the beginning of the 19th century, has the typical structure of an Italian mansion with high decorated ceilings with frescos and “cotto” tiles floors.
The fenced garden, furnished with chairs and table and for exclusive use, has secret corners with statue and stone table where you can enjoy and feel a particular ambience.
The two exterior staircases, one in front and the other in the back of the house, lead to a large terrace with a breathtaking view over the cypress lined path and bring you inside of a large bright “salone”, with a beautiful decorated ceiling, the heart of the house where all the rooms open on.
The 6 bedrooms (one double and 3 twin bedded) are furnished as well as the “salone” with antiques.
The 6 bathrooms (one with bath tube, one with shower), as well as the kitchen with the original big marble sink, have been maintained and renewed to a comfortable standar

Suitable for 7/8 people, is a large, sunny apartment make out of the first floor of the main villa “Villa Iolanda”. The inside keeps the typical structure of a villa with some decorated ceilings and “cotto” tiles floors. Country farmhouse adjacent to the main villa. Externally maintains the characteristic structures of a farmhouse including a 'mandolato' while the interior has been carefully reconstructed into three apartments with separate entrances.
This charming building who externally maintains the characteristic structure of a tuscan farmhouse including “mandolato” wall and brick wall, was one of the farmer house and the hayloft of the estate.
Adjacent to the main villa “Villa Iolanda” it has been carefully renovated into three apartments each one of them with separate entrances leading outside in the old farmyard paved with tuscan tiles, encircled by geranium plants and shared between the apartments.

Casa Colonica "Puledra"(C)
Three charming apartments, with separate entrances, which have been built in a section of an original farmhouse building and restored carefully to conserve the typical architecture, wooden beamed ceilings and tiled floors.
This ancient farmhouse, who dates back to the nineteenth century, has simple lines and is composed of hand-made brick, timber beamed ceiling and terracotta floors. Out side the original farmyard made of “cotto” used by the farmer to spread out cereals, olives or grapes to dry on the open air.
The ground floor used to house animals and wine cellar has been carefully restored, maintaining the old charm of the farmhouse but with modern comfort, in two charming and cozy small apartments, while at the first floor there is only one apartment.
All the apartments have an independent entrance, independent central heating.
Outside there is a shared garden.

This apartment, located in the south side of the farmhouse at the ground floor, is suitable for 2/3 people.
